Trends in Farm to Program Menu Planning with Seasonal Produce

Location: Marilyn J. Schlack Culinary and Allied Health Building, 418 E Walnut St, Kalamazoo

Date & Time: April 10, 2024, 10:30am-12:30pm

Join us for good food, conversation, and tools for strengthening farm to program connections through local, seasonal food. Farmers, this will be an opportunity for you to tell food service staff about your farm and the foods you produce. Food service folks, you’ll hear forecasts for this growing season that will help you plan your Fall menus so you can start the next school year featuring the bounty of Michigan seasonal produce on day one! Students in KVCC’s Culinary Arts & Sustainable Food Systems program will inspire us with a tasting menu of delicious foods prepared with produce available through ValleyHUB.
